Technique is the signature restaurant of Le Cordon Bleu. Where else can you eat delicious food prepared by enthusiastic and passionate aspiring cooks?
At Technique students cook and serve meals to the public, and Le Cordon Bleu chef instructors oversee the entire operation to ensure a smoothly run kitchen and delicious meals. All are welcome to dine.
Here are some commonly asked questions about Technique.
Are the students completing externship work?
No, students work at Technique before entering into an externship. This is one of the many ways Le Cordon Bleu gives students a chance to gain hands-on experience. Students work in all of the stations to get a full view of both the back-of-the-house and the front-of-the-house.
Where does the restaurant name come from?
It might be obvious to some, but Technique got its name because of its purpose. This is where students begin to practice classic cooking techniques in a real life scenario and ultimately begin to refine their own cooking skills. More specifically, the name reflects the restaurant’s guiding philosophy: simple, elegant menus inspired by classic techniques.
What kind of food is served?
Patrons can enjoy a meal throughout the day. Technique is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The breakfast menu is the smallest, but serves a handful of popular favorites. The lunch menu is extensive and includes a variety of appetizers, pizzas, sandwiches, and entrees. The dinner menu contains an excellent variety of fish and meat dishes, including steak tartare, cordon bleu, lamb porterhouse, and other elegant and filling choices. All ingredients are of the highest quality and come from sustainable sources.
Now’s your chance to indulge in a meal made just for you at Le Cordon Bleu.
